Our patients have access to state of the art technology in a warm, caring and comfortable environment. The bi-polar C type magnet is open in four directions, which makes the patient feel safe. Any body part can be located in the center of the magnet to ensure high quality images. The Neusoft Superopen has the ability to perform all anatomical regions, however our facility specializes in Orthopaedic studies of the spine and extremities.
We are proud to announce that our office has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in magnetic resonance imaging as the result of a recent survey by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
The ACR, headquartered in Reston, VA, awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of the practice. Evaluations are conducted by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field. They assess the qualifications of the personnel and the adequacy of facility equipment. The surveyors report their findings to the ACR's Committee on Accreditation, which subsequently provides the practice with a comprehensive report.
The ACR is a national organization serving more than 32,000 diagnostic/interventional radiologists, radiation oncologists, and medical physicists with programs focusing on the practice of medical imaging and radiation oncology and the delivery of comprehensive health care services.
We schedule appointments for MRI Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Our technicians have had extensive training in MRI technique and work closely with our local radiologists to provide the best imaging solutions. Results are usually available within 24 hours of imaging.
